Magi-Tech Items are very powerful and strange items that have a singular effects on the wielder of the items. They are extremely helpful, and give many effects to it’s wielders, typically passive or assisting, these effects can turn the tides of many battles. A character may only be attuned up to three items at once. Attuning to an item takes a long rest. You may only attune to one item per long rest.

Stealth Gear

This small item is about the size of a phone, when activated, it turns on a small refractive barrier that grants invisibility to whoever is holding it, they gain a +50% bonus to all Stealth actions based on sight for 1 minute. This item recharges after 1 hour.

Reduces recharge time by 10 mins per rank, increases invisibility time by 1 minute per rank.

Bullet Pendant

Magi-Tech Item, Neck
Crafting Recipe: –
Properties: – Weight: 50g Cost: C$2

This small pendant has a spent bullet on the bottom, the amount of bullets increasing with the MK rank of the weapon. Wearing this gives the wearer a +10% Crit Chance.

Lucky Horseshoe

Magi-Tech Item, Belt

This horseshoe is a fairly rusted and old one, with an upside-down appearance, usually worn as a badge, This horseshoe completely absorbs all fall damage from a single ability, then recharges within 5 minutes.

Gunslinger’s Bandolier

This bandolier features multiple satchels for bullets, holsters, empty magazines, pouches and other items that will be helpful for any gunslinger. The wearer gains a +10% bonus to all Reload actions.

Night Vision Goggles

These small goggles are suited over the wearers face, allowing them to treat all forms of darkness (except ultradarkness) as bright light. They receive a -50% to all attacks while wearing these goggles.

Thermal Vision Goggles

Magi-Tech Item, Eyes

Properties: – Weight: 1.4kg Cost: C$4.3

These goggles are bulkier, allowing you to detect various lifeforms from a distance, you can detect all forms of heat as light, shining brightly depending on how hot something is, while creatures that are entirely cold are invisible. They receive a -50% to all attacks while wearing these goggles.

Cloak of Resilience

This cloak has a beautiful sheen on the outer side of it, which hardens and protects the wearer whenever they most need it. The wearer receives a +10% bonus against all attacks that they must take an action to resist.

Spirit Card

This card has a complex and holographic shimmer, with a cover showing the title of the card, the attuned person adds up to five abilities in the card, and then chooses the name of the card and imbuing it with the abilities, whoever shouts the name of the card while wielding it activates all of the abilities on the card immediately at no TP, MP or SP cost.

The effects of all abilities should they require a time last about 1 minute. Once the card has been used, it requires 24 hours to recharge.

MK Bonus
The recharge time is reduced by 4 hours per rank (minimum 4), you may add one more ability per rank to the card, and the effects last for an extra 10 seconds per rank.

Strengthening Oil

This oil once applied onto weapons or armour, strengthens it and allows it to become unbreakable for a period of time, once applied, if the item would be broken by something, the item instead does not break, and the oil’s effect is now gone. The effect of the oil vanishes in 24 hours.

It takes 24 hours for the oil to recharge, the oil has only 1 use before needing to recharge

MK Bonus
The amount of uses that the oil has is increased by +1 per rank, when applied, the item resists +1 extra effect made to break the item.

Domain Jar

Magi-Tech Item, Miscellaneous
Crafting Recipe: –
Properties: – Weight: 1.2kg Cost: C$5

This jar contains a small plane of existence that once attuned to can be entered for 2 TP, the effects of the jar is as the demiplane ability, any one who is given permission by the attuned may enter the domain jar.

Warrior’s Eyepatch

The eyepatch grants the attuned wearer the reflexes and sight that any powerful warrior should have, they gain a +10% bonus to all Perception actions.

Geiger Counter

This device is used to detect the levels of radioactivity in a localised area. If there is any detection of powers, magic or radioactivity, the geiger counter shows the amount and direction of where the effect is in a 20m radius.

Portable Storage Cube

This small, hand-sized cube that has various holograms stores items in another plane of existence, the item itself can hold up to 50kg of items, all of the items, once inside of the cube, do not have any weight and do not add any weight onto this item.

Mana Gauntlet

This gauntlet features an energy core inside of it, charging the weapons main function, it generates an energy to function smoothly and feel almost weightless, being non-restrictive in movement, with multiple emitters on the lines of the gauntlet to keep it all together. It costs 2 TP to swap between forms of this weapon.

When imbued, Magi-Tech weapons receive the effects of the imbuement for 24 hours.

Hand Blaster Form

This small, cylindrical, hilted weapon contains an energy core which generates a form of it’s own, there’s a button towards the middle of the weapon, allowing it to change forms on rest. This weapon is iconic in various movies and television shows, for its unique appearance.

When imbued, Magi-Tech weapons receive the effects of the imbuement for 24 hours.

Axe Form

Mana Firearm

This brick-like device, folds out a stock, barrel and grip with an adaptive sizing device, hosting an energy core in the receiver, the Mana Firearm features a switch which allows the weapon to swap between safety, any available fire rates and allows it to change forms on rest.

When imbued, Magi-Tech weapons receive the effects of the imbuement for 24 hours.

The firearms barrel extends, as an arm-rest holds under it, it fires multiple small beams that enter the target.

Sniper Form

Automatic (d10) – Roll a dice as listed on the damage, multiply that number by the damage itself and subtract the highest possible result from your capacity e.g. the weapon deals 50 Force damage, rolling a d10 and getting the result of 3 means the weapon deals 150 damage and subtracts 10 from the capacity

Mana Bow

This steel bow has adjustable arms which allows the weapon to swap between forms on rest, with an energy core in the centre which generates a thin wire to connect both of the arms to fling holographic arrows when pulled back.

Mana Armour

This armour appears as a sling that goes over the shoulder, as it generates a clothing-like barrier that forms various forms of armour, pulsing and creating a sheen of magic energy over others clothes. It features an energy core towards the middle of the chest on both the back and front, allowing it to change forms on rest.

When imbued, Magi-Tech armour receive the effects of the imbuement for 24 hours.

The sling generates a gentle barrier against itself, being weaved with energy, it appears similarly to that of a robe, and enhances the potential magic of the wearer.

The sling generates a simple energy padding along the vital parts, and creates a small barrier shield against the wearers face.

Medium Form

The sling generates a more harder energy padding, creating minor forcefields along most parts of the armour, as it sheens gently while protecting the wearer.

Heavy Form

The sling generates a full shielding, creating armour that completely defends the wearer, as the shield pulses and holds strongly, it emits a faint hum.

When being held in the wielders hand, it plays music similarly to another instrument would, using it’s magical energy to fire sound waves from where the sound is produced.

Wish Orb

This translucent, dark glass orb which generates a purple miasma once held whispers into the wielder’s brain, asking for their greatest wish, requiring them to become attuned to the item. The orb can do any of the following below:

  • Create any mundane item, weapon, armour or equipment
  • Create a single magitech item up to C$25
  • Grant a permanent +1% modifier to any ability score of the wielder’s choice. (Or a temporary +10% modifier for 24 hours)
  • Gain a single perk, power or feat (Multiple ranks requiring multiple orbs, rank 1 costing 1 orb, while rank 2 costing 3 orbs, and rank 3 costing 5 orbs.)
  • Any other purpose that the wielder would like to use (with GM discretion).

Once attuned, the orb is consumed and disappears, with the item that is created replacing it’s location.

MK Bonus
The item’s created by this item are increased in MK bonus by +1 per rank, The price of Magitech items that can be created are increased by +C$25 per rank, and for the purposes of gaining a perk, power or feat, the item counts as 1 extra orb per rank. When using the item to gain a permanent modifier, the bonus increases by an added +1% per rank.

Monster Tooth Necklace

This necklace contains a multitude of teeth from various monsters and creatures, lined up nicely on a small bit of intertwined leather to keep them secure. The wearer receives a +10% bonus to all actions made to resist fear effects.

Time Travel Device

Magi-Tech Item, Wrist

Properties: – Weight: 50g Cost: C$40

This small, wrist device allows the wearer to travel in time for a long period of time. Using this device takes 1 minute to charge, before teleporting the wearer to any destination in time that they would like to travel to. They may also choose a general location as well as a type of parallel universe. The device takes 24 hours to charge, all cooldowns of this device cannot be boosted or changed by any time altering effects.

Travelling through time is very risky, with a 50% chance of failure, breaking the device and a 10% chance to create a paradox when used, dealing 1,000 Quantum Damage to the wearer. You may also hit the device to use its effects instantly, teleporting you up to a minute ahead or back in time (flip a coin to determine), however, this breaks the device immediately, with a 50% chance of creating a paradox. You may hit the device without any charges to gain this effect as well.

A broken device may still be used, however, you have a 50% chance of destroying the device upon use, and a further 50% chance of creating a paradox when used successfully. Hitting the device also has a 1% chance of working in this state. You do not regenerate any charges while the device is broken, and all charges go away upon breaking of the device.

MK Bonus
The chance of failure is reduced by 10% per rank (min 0%), Paradox causing is reduced by 10% (min 5%) and you are 10% less likely to destroy the device (min 0%). When broken, the device is 5% more likely to be used when hit per rank (max 26%). The device gains 1 extra charge per rank (max 6) which charge independently from one another.

Preservation Vial

This vial contains a self-refilling liquid that embalms all that it coats with a sticky and strong-smelling substance. There’s enough liquid inside of the bottle to preserve up to 1m3 of terrain, items or anything similar, keeping them in the same condition that it was at before the liquid was applied, the preservation also allows items and targets to become immune to all aging effects. The effects only last for up to 24 hours. It takes up to 24 hours for the liquid to restore itself in the bottle.

MK Bonus The amount of items that can be preserved is increased by +1m3 per rank.

Portal Generator

Properties: – Weight: 1kg Cost: C$3

This set of two generators are interlinked with one another, appearing as a very thick semi-circle, they can be deployed in a moments notice, activating the round after deployment. The device detects presence within 10m of the portal, activating both devices to create a two-way door. Once the portal is activated, affected can step through the portal to teleport to where the other one was deployed.

When the portal is used, it is deactivated for 1 minute, before it is recharged. The portal can be turned on and off by the wielder, which turns off the other portal.

The recharge time of the portal is reduced by 2 rounds per rank (min 0 rounds). The portal +1 extra use before needing to recharge per rank.

Personal Teleportation Device

This small, hexagonal device rests on the shoulder of the wielder, allowing the wearer to teleport at a whim for 0 TP, the wearer may teleport 10m in any direction as long as there is space at the area that they’re teleporting to, and they have clear line of sight to the area. They may teleport once per round.

Teleport range increases by +2m per rank, and the amount of times they can teleport per round increases by +1 per rank.

Booster Pack

Crafting Recipe: –
Properties: – Weight: 4kg Cost: C$4.3

This small backpack-like device straps to the back of the wearer, and contains two jets on their back, they may use this backpack twice for 1 TP before needing to recharge, on use, the booster pack grants a fly speed to the wielder of 25m for 1 round. It takes 1 minute for the booster pack to recharge.

MK Bonus
+2 uses per rank, fly distance increases by +5m per rank.

Forcefield Generator

Magi-Tech Item, Consumable
Crafting Recipe: –
Properties: – Weight: 1kg Cost: C$2

This half-hexagonal device generates a beam that creates a 3m radius forcefield, allowing all inside of it to receive it’s protection, A creature cannot directly attack those inside of the forcefield, and any creatures that try to enter the forcefield without the attuned’s permission automatically fail.

The forcefield has 1,000 HP, and recharges 100 HP per round. Once the forcefield reaches 0 HP, it is destroyed and all effects that it provides are removed. If it is destroyed, it requires 10 minutes to recharge.

Forcefield HP increases by +1,000 HP per rank, Forcefield HP regen is increased by +100 HP per round per rank.

Summoning Doll

Properties: – Weight: 400g Cost: C$6

A strange doll, a simple appearance of the creature that can be summoned, this doll, once sufficiently squeezed, summons the creature that the doll takes the appearance of, and allows the attuned to control it without making any actions. They automatically succeed at all actions to summon the creature.

To choose or change the appearance of the doll, one must have the knowledge of the creature, as well as at least a small piece from that creature worth about C$1. If the creature dies, this item is destroyed.

Wisp Stone

This pointed, quartz-like stone generates an energy for the wielder, creating a floating wisp near them, following them around within a 5m range, illuminating and creating a bright light for 10m, and a dim light for 20m beyond that light. The wisp whispers to the wielder via a telepathic link, revealing various information to the wielder, granting a +10% bonus to all study actions.

Beating Mechanical Heart

This heart beats rhythmically, increasing and decreasing it’s rate of heartbeat, it beats faster when creatures with a deep metasphere connection get close to the wielder of the heart. The heart can sense all creatures and beat faster depending on the amount of technology it has. The heart stops beating if it cannot detect anything within a 100m range. The wielder also receives a +10% bonus to all Senses actions made against Metasphere creatures.

Magic Mirror

A mark can last up to 24 hours and only reveals the location of where it has marked.

When rolling the dice, multiply the result by 5 to determine the percentage modifier. When rolling an odd number (e.g. 1, 3… etc.) The effect the dice gives is a negative modifier, while rolling an even number (e.g. 2, 4… etc), gives a positive modifier to the next ability that the user performs.
