Sporing Sores

The afflicted has sores all over their back, which can emit various spores

Benefit – Gain the Spores combination ability, it requires HP to cast.

Downside – When wearing any armour or back clothing, the ability is active at all times and instead affects you, this costs no HP or TP to cast

Hidden Backpack

The afflicted has a secret pocket in their back that can hide various items

Benefit – Always treated as having a backpack, without a thorough search (DC 75%), items in this pocket cannot be found by others

Downside – When being hit with a critical hit, there’s a 10% chance that all of the items in this pocket will fall out around you.

Turtle Shell

The afflicted has grown a turtle shell on their back.

Benefit - +40% DR, You may choose to hide in your shell, costing 3 TP, once hiding, you are treated as if you are in full cover.

Downside – Cannot wear any armour, movement speed costs double the amount of TP

Homunculi

The afllicted can grow many homunculi from their back, small flesh beings, but they are less then enthusiastic about existence.

Benefit – You can spend 10% of your HP to summon 1 tiny flesh homunculus from your back, they understand all languages that you can speak, they are easily distracted and get bored very quickly, and die within 1 minute. You can summon multiple at a time

Downside – When summoning these creatures, you receive a -10% to all social actions until each homunculi has died.

Extreme Flexibility

The afflicted’s back has extreme flexibility and can contort in grotesque shapes

Benefit - +20% to all Dodge Actions, Gain the Reflex perk, if this perk is already attained, you may choose one other perk in its place that you have the prerequisites for.

Downside - -10% Fortitude, Your carry weight is halved, your maximum lift over head is the same as your heavy load.

Spines

The afflicted’s back is covered in various spines and points.

Benefit – You gain a +50% bonus against all Grapple actions, if you are still grappled, the target takes 25 Piercing damage per any other action they spend against you.

Downside – You cannot wear any back armour or items
