Your magic is dangerously out of control.

When you roll a critical failure or success on a power, roll a d20, the number you roll on corresponds to the number on Table: Wildly Magical Effects

d20 Effect
1 The power backfires and the effects are centered on you.
2 The power’s effect is doubled
3 The power creates a thunderous boom when cast, and deafens everyone who fails a Senses Action DC casters in a 20m radius
4 You teleport 20m in a random direction.
5 You turn invisible for the next round
6 You become enraged.
7 You levitate 10m into the air for 2 rounds and float gently down afterwards.
8 Butterflies and flower petals shoot out around you for the next 10 minutes
9 You shapeshift into a random domesticated animal
10 The power fizzles out, and you lose an amount of MP based on double the MP cost of the power.
11 All invisible creatures in the area reveal themselves.
12 You are confused for one round.
13 You cast black hole centered on yourself.
14 You regain 30 MP
15 You immediately become sickened for 3 rounds, and throw up at the end of the effect.
16 Your height changes by 1d20 cm, flip a coin to determine whether taller or shorter
17 You burst into flames that do not harm you, but deal 1 damage to those that touch you for 1 minute.
18 You turn into a bright, random colour
19 3 random creatures within 10m immediately voids their bowels and bladders.
20 You cast the power with no TP or MP cost.
