Half Orcs have one Orc parent and one other race as a parent, their Orc traits such as their anger, natural strength and growth rate. Usually fighting an internal struggle with these emotions that cause outbursts of anger, rage and even to the point of killing others from a small anger incident, they try to keep their emotions in check, and are ultimately feared for their spontaneous and changing emotional states.

Characteristics

Half Orcs feature some traits of orcs, usually having two lower protruding canines, they have a characteristic underbite similar to that of an Orc, as well as a slight green tinge in their skin. They are much taller and bulkier then most other species. Half Orcs are known for their mood swings, but are generally kind creatures otherwise, having sudden, short outbursts of anger that they cannot control, usually a ticking time-bomb of emotion, they generally feel alone compared to others, being unable to truly connect with someone due to this unfortunate trait.

Native Environments

Half Orcs are found everywhere that Orcs and their other parent are found. They do not have a specific location that they reside in.

History

Half Orcs have a history of participating in multiple wars, due to their more obedient nature then Orcs, combined with a similar strength, they make for perfect soldiers, usually being commanded in armies, they were treated as lesser by some, before fighting for their own rights. This wasn’t difficult for them, as most others fear the Half Orc for their strength and power, which was visibly shown to those who don’t respect them.

Society & Culture

Half Orcs are people with a rich and deep culture. While relying on strength to show dominance is one part, similar to that of Orc culture, most Half Orc tend to stick together in a group, having small communities where they rough house and play with one another, serve traditional meals and snacks, and learn more about eachother, being the only ones able to truly understand one another compared to other races.

Half Orc Racial Traits

Racial Modifiers – When not choosing a subrace, you gain a +10% to two ability scores of your choice.
Size – Half Orc range from Small, Medium and Large sizes.
Movement Speed – Half Orc move at 2m/TP.
Languages Known – Half Orc start knowing Orcish and Higher English, for every +5% Intellect Modifier they have, they may learn an additional language.

Major Traits

Berserker – Half Orc do not need to spend any SP to activate any ability that requires a Form, They may remain in this mode for an amount of minutes equal to half of their level. Once this ability ends, the Half Orc is then tired. This ability costs 50 SP to recharge.
Minor Superstition – Half Orc gain the ability to use a superstition equal to half of the Half Orcs level per day. When a minor superstition is used, the Half Orc makes a claim connected to some sort of basis (e.g. “This weapon is enchanted with fire because it has carvings of fire scribbled into it!”), once the claim is made, roll a d8, on an 8, this claim is considered true.
Adaptation – Choose one Major Trait from any other race. You gain this Major Trait.

Minor Traits

Well-Toned – Half Orc may choose to gain a +50% bonus to any Muscle action an amount of times equal to their level per day.
Iron Gut – Half Orc can consume rotten or poisonous food without suffering any negative effects.
Weapon Mastery – Half Orc receive no penalties when using any weapon that is their size. They receive a +20% bonus to hit with all weapons.

Half Orc Subraces

Subraces are variants of the main race that change the abilities and aesthetic of the race, Subraces are not mandatory to choose, but you may only choose one subrace for your character.

Citydweller

Citydweller Half Orcs are typically more passive then other Half Orcs, usually with less of an underbite and smaller canines then other races, they have a much more friendlier demeanour then others of their kind.

Citydweller Racial Modifiers – Citydweller Half Orc gain a +10% Social, +5% Senses, and a -5% Muscle
Urban Adjusted – Citydweller Half Orc are never lost in cities or urban landscapes, and can travel at double speed while in these areas.
Diplomatic – Citydweller Half Orc gain a +10% bonus when performing diplomatic and friendly actions with others.
Tactical Focus – Citydweller Half Orc gain the ability can enter multiple forms at once. They receive a +10% bonus to all actions for every form they have active.

Defiant

Defiant Half Orcs are the ones that are seen fighting for others rights, knowingly protesting and fighting for an anarchistic society, one that truly accepts them for who they are and gives them a feeling of freedom, for they believe this is the only way for others to understand how they truly feel.

Defiant Racial Modifiers – Defiant Half Orc gain a +10% Agility, +5% Nerve, and a -5% Social
Anarchist – Defiant Half Orc automatically critically hit on the first attack of any politicians, nobles and aristocrats.
Call To Action – Defiant Half Orc may attempt to rally multiple others for 3 TP, causing those in a 100m radius that hear their rally and are not with good standing or even remotely dislike any local enforcement immediately turn friendly to the Half Orc, and begin being hostile to any local authority.
Vigilante – Defiant Half Orc receive a +25% bonus to all actions made to disguise as another persona, or to not be recognised by others.

Primal

Primal Half Orcs are similar to that of their Orc bretheren, being more raised by their Orc Parent then their other parent, they feature similar, more primal traits of them. Primal Half Orcs are amazing nomadic hunter gatherers, and have rich oral traditions and cultures that they seldom share with outsiders.

Primal Racial Modifiers – Primal Half Orc gain a +10% Muscle, +5% Fortitude, and a -5% Nerve
Hunter-Gatherer – Primal Half Orc receive double the amount of resources from foraging and from harvesting animals
Throwing Expert – Primal Half Orc automatically reload any throwing weapons when holstered for one round, or when successfully hitting another target.
Nomad – Primal Half Orc receive a +20% bonus to all actions while travelling from one place to another
