Half Anthro appear like anthro’s, typically only having the base traits of their animalistic species, usually the ears and tail, or wings and talons. They are not usually furry everywhere, but can be, and usually appear as another kind of race alongside their Anthro nature. The nature of their race causes others to perceive them as cute, in the same manner of a baby animal, usually not being taken as seriously as other races, often underestimated, the Half Anthro is highly efficient and insanely skilled, beyond what others think of them

Characteristics

Half Anthro’s typically have one or two distinct, physical traits of the Anthro heritage that they come from, usually having the other races characteristics for the rest of their appearance. The most common kind of Half Anthro is typically human, however, their appearance varies greatly depending on their other parent.

Half Anthro are usually quite serious, honourable and very much forceful with their personality, in an attempt to block out others innate perceptions of them by showing off their skill immediately. Some Half Anthro lean into others perceptions of them to get what they want, and are known to sneak through and be amazing at appearing innocent to others.

Native Environments

Half Anthro are found amongst all environments and places, based either in their tribes as Anthros, or based where their parents are from in their cities, it varies entirely based on either the Anthro or other parent.

History

Half Anthro used to be considered prized creatures and slaves, usually treated as pets, infantilised or used mainly as “cute” servants to others. Half Anthro’s dislike their past as such, and usually protest or fight for others freedoms, as they have been given none during their races lifetimes.

Society & Culture

Half Anthro usually blend in with other societies quite well, usually being influenced by either parent based on their location, they copy their traits and personalities moreso, not having an entirely unique identity that is distinguishable from other Half Anthros, however, there is one thing that almost all Half Anthros have, and that is a desire for fighting those in power who oppress others.

Half Anthro Racial Traits

Racial Modifiers – When not choosing a subrace, you gain a +10% to two ability scores of your choice.
Size – Half Anthro range from Small, Medium and Large sizes.
Movement Speed – Half Anthro move at 2m/TP.
Languages Known – Half Anthro start knowing Wilderspeak and Higher English, for every +5% Intellect Modifier they have, they may learn an additional language.

Major Traits

Bestial Ancestry – Half Anthro gain a 25m sense ability, being able to detect the presence of other creatures or targets in this range, They only know the amount of targets in this range. If a Half Anthro is looked at directly, even outside of this range, they can always feel it. This ability is active while the Half Anthro is resting.
Animal Limbs – Half Anthro gain the ability to start with 1 natural ability or limb, they gain an extra natural ability or limb every 5 levels. If they choose the same natural ability or limb, the effectiveness for the ability is increased by a +50% at base. The Half Anthro has all facilities to perform this natural ability or otherwise gains the facilities to perform it
Adaptation – Choose one Major Trait from any other race. You gain this Major Trait.

Minor Traits

Natural Cuteness – When a Half Anthro fails or critically fails a Social action, flip a coin, if heads, each person witnessing views this as endearing, the action is considered as a success
Reflexes – Half Anthro gain the ability to perform a movement action at 0 TP cost, provoking no exposure, when performing a Dodge action at the same time.
Durable – Half Anthro remain conscious for 1 round after they are sent to death’s door.

Half Anthro Subraces

Subraces are variants of the main race that change the abilities and aesthetic of the race, Subraces are not mandatory to choose, but you may only choose one subrace for your character.

Omnivore

Omnivore Half Anthros are typically based on other Omnivorous creatures, scavenging and eating whatever they come by. They are great at finding food and analysing what is poisonous to them or not. They are known for their highly diverse diets, with multiple spices added to them.

Omnivore Racial Modifiers – Omnivore Half Anthro gain a +10% Senses, +5% Intellect, and a -5% Agility
Scavenger – Omnivore Half Anthro gain an extra item whenever loot is rolled
Culinary Expert – Omnivore Half Anthro gain a +25% bonus to all actions made to prepare and cook food
Appendix – Omnivore Half Anthro can digest any plant or meat based matter without getting sick, 1kg being worth 0.4 Saturation.

Carnivore

Carnivore Half Anthros are known for being very strong-headed and simple minded, normally only consuming meat, Carnivore Half Anthros are usually predator creatures, hunting and stalking others, waiting for the right opportunity to strike, their personality almost mimicking this natural predator style.

Carnivore Racial Modifiers – Carnivore Half Anthro gain a +10% Muscle, +5% Vitality, and a -5% Intellect
Hunter – Carnivore Half Anthro gain Blend as a perk, when performing Blend, their movement is silent.
Stalking Pounce – When attacking an exposed target, the Carnivore Half Anthro may perform a grapple as well as their current attack, this move automatically succeeds.
Fresh Meat – When consuming atleast 1kg of flesh from a freshly defeated creature, the Carnivore Half Anthro gains 25 SP per round for 1 minute.

Herbivore

Herbivore Half Anthros typically only eat plant matter, fruits or vegetables, eating grass and various similar food. Exhibiting various prey-like traits, they are known to remain stoic and strong, with a softer personality and more kinder nature, they are highly sociable, and tend to make friends easier then other Half Anthros due to their softer appearances.

Herbivore Racial Modifiers – Herbivore Half Anthro gain a +10% Agility, +5% Fortitude, and a -5% Muscle
Gatherer – Herbivore Half Anthro receive double the amount of resources when foraging for food.
Prey Instincts – Herbivore Half Anthro receive a +25% bonus to retain their Composure and Confidence, and gain Feign Death as a perk.
Leafy Greens – When consuming atleast 1kg of plant matter, the Herbivore Half Anthro receives Haste for 1 round.

Centaur

Centaur Half Anthros typically are creatures that have the body of a horse, having the four legs similar, with their head being the upper body of a humanoid creature, having two arms, they are expert ranged fighters, known for rushing in and attacking others like other cavalry units, they are the equivalent of fleshy tanks when it comes to any living creature.

Centaur Racial Modifiers – Centaur Half Anthro gain a +10% Nerve, +5% Psyche, and a -5% Social
Quadrupedal – Centaur Half Anthro have four legs and two arms, they are always considered quadrupedal, and cannot be knocked prone.
Gallop – Centaur Half Anthro move at 4m/TP instead of 2m/TP.
Bowman – Centaur Half Anthro gain a +25% bonus to hit and damage with all bows. The Centaur may apply homing to their attacks with a bow an amount of times equal to their level per encounter.

Mermaid

Having the upper body of a humanoid, and the lower body of a fish, Mermaids are able to breathe underwater. Said to be magical, with their scales granting luck to those who have them, they are highly sought after and hunted.

Mermaid Racial Modifiers – Mermaid Half Anthro gain a +10% Social, +5% Agility, and a -5% Nerve
Aquatic – Mermaid Half Anthro can breathe underwater, and have a swim speed of 2m/TP.
Fins – Mermaid Half Anthro have a long fish-like tail, this tail automatically converts into two legs and feet when they are on land. While underwater, they are not exposed through movement.
Rainbow Scales – Mermaid Half Anthro receive a +25% bonus to all actions made to perform dances and other physical artworks.
