Being seen throughout human history, the Grey is an iconic creature amongst most, known also affectionately as a Melonhead, these short, grey-skinned, black-eyed aliens have appeared everywhere in human history, usually flying complicated, disc-shaped spaceships, and reporting back to their main colonies in motherbases, performing probes and analysis on all lifeforms in space, the Grey is feared by some, but beloved by most.
Characteristics
Greys are Aliens, and generally appear with grey, green or similar colours of smooth skin, having little-to-no hair on their bodies, large heads, and large, black eyeballs, their bodies are generally lanky, and are very short, not being designed for physical confrontation, most Greys rely on ranged weapons.
Greys are highly sociable and intelligent creatures, known for having complex lives and being some of the earliest spacefaring species, they are slightly feared due to stigma of many races in the past, being the former dominant species of space travel, the Grey are actually fairly kind in most cases, but usually to-the-point.
Native Environments
Greys natively are found on multiple planets from colonising space early, however, they naturally reside in large spacefleets, known as “Motherships”, they tend to stick to space quite often, being the best form for their bodies to adjust in.
History
Greys are known for their probing of creatures, societies and forced kidnappings of times past, causing terror amongst lesser advanced populations due to their masterfully crafted and developed technological advancements that other races have been unable to match, they have fought in multiple wars to colonise space, destroying other races eons ago. Nowadays, they are much more tame and open to others, while acknowledging their history.
Society & Culture
Greys have a highly complex society, similar to that of a technocracy, most Greys focus on intellect of others, communicating to eachother in complicated jargon. The more complex the terminology used by a Grey, usually shows how much a Grey respects another person.

Grey Racial Traits
Racial Modifiers – When not choosing a subrace, you gain a +10% to two ability scores of your choice.
Size – Grey range from Small, Medium and Large sizes.
Movement Speed – Grey move at 2m/TP.
Languages Known – Grey start knowing Martian, for every +5% Intellect Modifier they have, they may learn an additional language.
Major Traits
Alien – Grey are treated as an Alien for determining the effects of all abilities. They do not need to breathe. Greys regenerate 25 MP and SP per round while in a vacuum.
Psionic – Grey can transmit up to a sentence of information, and read up to a sentence of someones thoughts for 2 TP. They may also lift and move objects no heavier then 20kg within a 10m radius of them with their mind for 0 TP. The Grey must have line of sight with the creature or object.
Astral Affinity – Grey always act first in combat while in a vacuum. They are proficient in controlling all space vehicles and cannot critically fail while controlling them.
Minor Traits
Superior Vision – Grey automatically succeed with all actions made to view finer details, smaller items and can visibly see all technological connections and access points. They gain a +50% bonus against all illusion powers.
Star Navigation – Grey are never lost while travelling in space, and always know exactly where they are whilst travelling.
Squishy – Grey receive only 25% of all fall damage, and do not face any damage when being compressed or squished
Grey Subraces
Subraces are variants of the main race that change the abilities and aesthetic of the race, Subraces are not mandatory to choose, but you may only choose one subrace for your character.
Glorp
Known for having two antennae, the Glorp Greys are very similar in appearance to your standard Grey, with more of a green tinge then other races, they are known to be greatly aligned with a more mystical idea of Grey, using trickery and illusion to seem more important then they actually are. Glorp Grey are ultimately loved and adored by most due to their silly appearance and child-like understandings of the world.
Glorp Racial Modifiers – Glorp Grey gain a +10% Psyche, +5% Senses, and a -5% Fortitude
Antennae – Glorp Grey have two Antennae that they can use to interact with any device in their line of sight within a 100m radius
Glowing Green – Glorp Grey gain Prestidigitation as a power, they may use this power for 0 TP and MP.
Radioactivity – Glorp Grey have a 5m aura that affects all creatures within the area with with the Radioactive 5 effect. The Glorp Grey regenerates 100 MP per hour.
Zarrian
Zarrian Greys are typically large, bulky and blob-like creatures, being very hedonistic, they trade with others often in the galaxy for various luxury goods, hoarding it for themselves, they view profit as the ultimate value, believing anything can be traded for the right price.
Zarrian Racial Modifiers – Zarrian Grey gain a +10% Social, +5% Luck, and a -5% Agility
Merchant – Zarrian Grey gain a +25% bonus to all actions made to haggle, bargain, or engage in trading and selling goods, and can haggle with all creatures despite them not knowing the language.
Appraiser – Zarrian Grey can set the value of an item with the maximum amount being no more then 50% of the cost of the item.
Manipulation – Zarrian Grey gain the ability to cast Suggest at no TP or MP cost an amount of times per day equal to their level.
Martian
Martian Grey are the most common Grey, their appearance being the most popular with other grey, they are built for ranged weaponry and are highly intelligent. Most Grey come from Martian Grey.
Martian Racial Modifiers – Martian Grey gain a +10% Intellect, +5% Nerve, and a -5% Muscle
Dune Rider – Martian Grey receive a +50% bonus to all nature actions while in a desert or mesa biome, they gain double the resources from all resources in these areas and can find the nearest natural source of drinkable water for 5 TP.
Tactician – Martian Grey can use Quick-Thinking actions for 0 TP cost an amount of times equal to their level per encounter.
Energy Weapon Fighter – Martian Grey receive a +25% bonus to hit and damage with all science weapons.
Elite
Elite Grey are extremely different from other Grey, featuring more of a muscular and solid body, they are exceptionally taller then others of their kind, having tentacle-like mandibles, an exoskeleton, and a flat head with frills on both sides, these Grey are known to rely solely on their melee weapon, killing others in one quick swing.
Elite Racial Modifiers – Elite Grey gain a +10% Agility, +5% Muscle, and a -5% Social
Astral Warrior – Elite Grey can completely block one projectile or attack an amount of times equal to their level per day.
Honour By The Blade – Elite Grey must use their weapon when unsheathed to kill a target, gaining a +50% bonus to hit and damage with all melee weapons. If they do not use their weapon, they must take 100 HP before sheathing it. Elite Grey gain Iaijutsu as a perk.
Poetic Justice – Elite Grey receive a +25% bonus to all actions made to create poetry, music or artworks.
