Plague-Bearing items emanate a green, spore-like mist, with the capacity of infecting those against the wielder with various diseases, bacteria and other plague-causing parasites.

Poison damage performed through this item via Perks or Powers is doubled. All damage performed using this item, weapon, or while wearing the armour (if no other enchantments are present) is performed as Poison damage.

Rank 1 – Minor

Crafting Recipe: Death Toll (Power), Poisonous 1 Material (2kg), Paper, 500 MP.
MP Cost/Day: 10 Properties: – Cost: C$1

Minor Plague – The weapon receives +20% Poison Damage, Damage type is changed to Poison, if the enchanted item is an armour, the wearer receives a +20% Damage Reduction against all Poison damage. If enchanted on an object, the object receives this instead.

Rank 2 – Moderate

Crafting Recipe: Venerable Touch (Power), Poisonous 3 Material (4kg), Scroll, 1,000 MP.
MP Cost/Day: 30 Properties: – Cost: C$5

Moderate Plague – The weapon receives +40% Poison Damage, Damage type is changed to Poison, if the enchanted item is an armour, the wearer receives a +40% Damage Reduction against all Poison damage. If enchanted on an object, the object receives this instead.
Sickly – On critical hits with the item, or when powers are cast through the item, the target becomes sickened for the rest of the round, they cannot take an action against this effect.

Rank 3 – Major

Crafting Recipe: Curse (Power), Poisonous 5 Material (6kg), Book, 2,000 MP.
MP Cost/Day: 50 Properties: – Cost: C$10

Major Plague – The weapon receives +60% Poison Damage, Damage type is changed to Poison, if the enchanted item is an armour, the wearer receives a +60% Damage Reduction against all Poison damage. If enchanted on an object, the object receives this instead.
Nauseating – On critical hits with the item, or when powers are cast through the item, the target becomes nauseated for the rest of the round, they cannot take an action against this effect.
Superspreader – The wielder of the item may attempt to afflict a disease of the wielder’s choice to the target of their attack.
