Players sometimes have the urge to create items that do not exist in this book, which is perfectly fine, during your journeys, you may want to create an item completely unique in function for your character, or combine the functions of multiple things, in this case, work with your GM to determine if you can make such a thing, then follow the rules below!
Selecting an Item Category
When creating a unique item that is completely unique, try to find the most similar item. If the item functions in two or more categories (e.g. One Handed Ranged and One Handed Melee), choose an item each from these categories and divide your tinker points for each individual category.
Weapons

Crafting Costs
The Crafting Costs of the item that is created is identical to that of the item that it is based off, normally requiring an additional +25% materials to create the item itself. The GM may rule this amount to be different depending on the item itself.
