Tenebrisians are naturally blind creatures with the ability to sense through a combination of scent and sound, having the ability to detect double the range of most other living creatures. Developing mostly due to their conditions underground, they are able to squeeze through small cracks, ambushing easily to get their next kill to feed upon, and being able to retreat and hide in complicated cave systems with ease.

Characteristics

Tenebrisians have large, oblong and bulbous heads, used to detect sound, they have a lack of eyes, and two holes on the side in which their ear canals are located, they have two holes for their nose, and a jaw that unhinges. Their skin is usually a black or blue colour, with a much lankier and soft body which allows them to enter small spaces.

Tenebrisians are relatively quiet creatures, focusing more on listening to sounds and conversation over actual speaking or conveying ideas. Tenebrisians prefer in most instances to enjoy the world around them, listening to specific sounds and their depth, and hearing stories of others. They normally do have a favourite sound.

Native Environments

Tenebrisians are located amongst caves and dark areas, enclosed spaces usually grant them a higher advantage over long distance ones due to the ability of ambushing others, and being less open to longer attacks and closing sight lines.

History

Tenebrisians have a long history of warring and fighting amongst themselves moreso then other creatures. Raiding for equipment and food in a very barren location is a common activity. Beyond this, there has not been any development or expansion of Tenebrisian lifestyles, due to being mostly isolated from one another.

Society & Culture

Tenebrisians are isolated from one another, having a very survival based lifestyle, they are known to eat eachother for food and attack most times, either due to annoyance, dominance or simply for the need of food.
