Ichorae are creatures of pure energy, similar to various suns and stars in the galaxy, they have a small core located somewhere on their body, retracting into there when sufficiently damaged enough, these powerful creatures of pure energy have the ability to control their energy type and summon it at their own will.

Characteristics

Ichorae usually appear as their type of energy, manifesting it from their core in their own way, featuring typically the same amount of limbs as any other humanoid, their body gains the physical traits of their energy, for example, Fire Ichorae would have more of a jagged, flame-like body, and a Water Ichorae would have a watery, rounded body.

Ichorae are energetic, explosive, and exceptionally booming in personality, their personalities are large and forceful, being mostly kind in their intentions. Ichorae are typically fairly talkative, or mostly silent, there is no real inbetween for Ichoraes, as they are extreme in one end compared to others.

Native Environments

Ichorae usually reside in outposts and asteroids, occasionally living amongst others in large cities and societies, their large personality limits their communication skills with others, as they have issues understanding those and their lack of reaction at most times.

History

Ichorae have a rich history of warring with one another, being summoned by others, or sapped with their cores to be used in primitive war machine-like devices. Through these events, Ichorae have been introduced to war, not entirely understanding it as a concept, or thinking that they are above such pitiful activities.

Society & Culture

Ichorae are helpful to those around them, being taught to help others that deserve it or are in need of help. Ichorae societies are functioning around helping others and working together towards a collective goal, usually being related to survival in some way, shape or form.

Ichorae Racial Traits

Racial Modifiers – When not choosing a subrace, you gain a +10% to two ability scores of your choice.
Size – Ichorae range from Small, Medium and Large sizes.
Movement Speed – Ichorae move at 2m/TP.
Languages Known – Ichorae start knowing Ancient, for every +5% Intellect Modifier they have, they may learn an additional language.

Major Traits

Elemental – Ichorae choose one damage type that they are resistant to and another damage type that they are weak to. After choosing this damage type, they gain the power Bolt. This power deals the same damage type as the damage type you are resistant to, and deals double the amount of damage.
Core Recharge – When Ichorae reach death’s door, they immediately fade away and enter their core. Ichorae have double the amount of maximum wounds compared to other creatures. All attacks that deal 1 wound damage deal no damage to this core, while every other wounds damage amounts are halved. The Ichorae immediately goes into rest as this ability is active, and upon awakening, they will leave their core with full HP, MP and SP.
Spaceborn – Ichorae can breathe in the vacuum of space, and can move around in a vacuum at 2m/TP.

Minor Traits

Astroplanar – Ichorae can choose to travel through hidden holes in space whilst travelling in a vacuum. They may travel as if they were in hyperspace, teleporting near planets that they know nearly immediately. They may only perform this an amount of times equal to their level per day.
Star Energy – When entering extreme heat and ultrabright locations, Ichorae regenerate all of their HP, MP and SP within 1 minute (or 10% every round)
Sparkle – Ichorae emit a faint glow in a 10m radius, turning all darkness into dim light, they may turn this glow on and off for 0 TP.

Ichorae Subraces

Subraces are variants of the main race that change the abilities and aesthetic of the race, Subraces are not mandatory to choose, but you may only choose one subrace for your character.

Nova

Nova Ichorae are brightly coloured, deeply radioactive humanoids, shining brighter then most things, mimicking other suns, the Nova Ichorae is made of pure plasma energy, having enough strength to match the power of the sun, they are insanely powerful, and equally as deadly.

Nova Racial Modifiers – Nova Ichorae gain a +10% Agility, +5% Vitality, and a -5% Fortitude
Birthright – Nova Ichorae gain the ability to create a powerful, blinding ultrabright light for 2 TP that burns brightly for 3 rounds, damaging all that see this light for 200 (d2%) Plasma damage per level. They may perform this ability an amount of times equal to their level per day.
Gamma Radiation – Nova Ichorae have a 5m radius that regenerates the MP of all targets inside of the radius by 50 MP per round.
Superfission – Nova Ichorae can create an explosion once per day for 3 TP, this explosion burns brightly and painfully, affecting all targets in a 50m radius, dealing 1,000 (d10%) Plasma Damage per level.

Cosmic

Cosmic Ichorae are dark coloured, a clump of multi-coloured particles with strange abilities connected to the Fourth Dimension in some form, containing whole galaxies within themselves, these creatures are aware of the universe around them, with a deep understanding of how the universe functions based on their own existence.

Cosmic Racial Modifiers – Cosmic Ichorae gain a +10% Senses, +5% Intellect, and a -5% Muscle
Deep Space – Cosmic Ichorae have a demiplane that exists within them. This demiplane functions exactly like the power, however, all creatures that walk inside of the Cosmic Ichorae can enter this demiplane.
Outerworlds – Cosmic Ichorae receive a +20% bonus to all actions made to understand different dimensions, plains, and incomprehensible creatures
Chaos – Cosmic Ichorae gain the ability to cast Core Rumble for no MP cost an amount of times equal to their level per day.

Void

Void Ichorae are deep, black-hole like humanoids, with a deep, space-like inside, the Void Ichorae is known to completely eradicate anything that it touches. Unlike other kinds of Ichorae, the Void Ichorae is fragmentally nothing, creating a large blackness whenever they are sensed or detected.

Void Racial Modifiers – Void Ichorae gain a +10% Nerve, +5% Luck, and a -5% Agility
Emptiness – Void Ichorae can remove one object or projectile for 3 TP an amount of times equal to their level per day. This is considered a counter when used in combat.
Hollowing – Void Ichorae gain a +25% bonus to all actions made to depress, upset or otherwise make a target feel numb, when a target successfully feels depressed, upset or numb, the Void Ichorae regenerates 25 HP, MP and SP per round for 1 minute.
Fragmented – Void Ichorae can sacrifice parts of their own soul when using Rituals, they have an amount of souls equal to their level which regenerate each day.

Energy

Energy Ichorae are the most common kind of Ichorae, usually having the appearance of an energy type, there are multiple kinds of Energy Ichorae, Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Light, etc. These Ichorae are known to absorb and shoot powers outwards, functioning like multiple kinds of elemental creatures, and are a common kind of summoned creature.

Energy Racial Modifiers – Energy Ichorae gain a +10% Psyche, +5% Social, and a -5% Nerve
Energy Alignment – Energy Ichorae can convert all energy damage created by them to deal their resistant damage type.
Power – Each time an Energy Ichorae successfully hits a target with their resistant damage type, they receive a +5% bonus to damage with their resistant damage type. This effect can stack (max +100%). This stack depletes by -5% when the Energy Ichorae misses an attack.
Ultimate Burst – Energy Ichorae can spend all 20 stacks of Power to summon a Shooting Star for no MP cost, dealing the resistant damage type of the Energy Ichorae.

Golem

Golem Ichorae are known to be hardened, more physical versions of their energy, being used primarily as guards, they are able to absorb all kinds of damage, being incredibly hearty and known to defeat entire armies alone, the Golem Ichorae are a force to be reckoned with.

Golem Racial Modifiers – Golem Ichorae gain a +10% Muscle, +5% Fortitude, and a -5% Social
Gemstone Heart – Golem Ichorae regenerate HP equal to their level per round.
Avatar – Golem Ichorae can summon an Avatar for 2 TP an amount of times equal to half of their level per combat, this Avatar is a small, floating orb, which fires a bolt of the resistant energy type at a target of your choosing. Each avatar only lasts for 1 minute.
Rebuild – When Golem Ichorae are in Core Recharge, all wound damage they receive regenerates by 1 per hour. The amount of time needed before waking up and having full HP is reduced to 1d4.
