Chases
Home > Rulebook > Gamemastering > Chases
On your adventures, you are bound to be running away from something, or something is bound to be running away from you. Chasing is typically the only way to catch up to creatures, and can last for long amounts of time.
If both creatures spend all of their Time Points in the round moving away from one another, the one with more movement speed eventually wins the chase, either by escaping or catching up to the creature. If both creatures have the same movement speed, then the creature with the higher Agility stat eventually wins the chase. If both creatures have the same movement speed and Agility stat, the winner is decided by a coin flip. The GM assigns which creature to each side of the coin, and depending on the results, the winner can be either the chaser or the chasee.
