These modifications add multiple layers to your Mecha, to allow it to specialise and hone in on certain benefits of the Mecha itself, Mecha Modifications are seen almost everywhere due to the diversity and strengths of each Mecha Modification itself. Each modification takes up one single slot of Mech Slots.

Auto-Pilot

Intelligence, Mecha Modification

The Auto-Pilot modification gives the Mecha their own in-built intelligence system, where they are sentient and able to act on it’s own, given it’s own personality and thoughts. It acts as if it has a mind of it’s own, usually following it’s pilot and owner in it’s rules, when manned, the Pilot gains full control of the Mecha.

Defence Matrix

Defence, Mecha Modification

This modification adds an additional ability to the Mecha.

Defence Matrix (10 CE/projectile) – The Mecha creates a 10m cone, all projectiles that enter this cone of vision are immediately destroyed, and automatically miss.

Berserk Mode

Rage, Mecha Modification

This modification adds an additional ability to the Mecha.

Berserk Mode (50 CE/round) – The Mecha goes into a berserker state, dealing +40% more damage with all attacks. All attacks while in this mode restore the Core Energy of the Mecha by +10 per hit.

Flight Module

Movement, Mecha Modification

The Mecha gains a flight module, gaining a flight speed of 5m/CE. Each modification stack increases this flight speed by +5m.

Backup Systems

Safety, Mecha Modification

When the core of the Mecha turns unstable, the Mecha instead becomes broken, regains 1,000 HP, halves it’s max HP and moves at half of it’s speed until it is repaired. This ability can only activate once until the Mecha is repaired again.

Transformation Command

Transform, Mecha Modification
Crafting Recipe: –
Properties: – Weight: 30t Cost: C$200

This modification adds an additional ability to the Mecha. Choose one of three modes below to add to the Mecha.

Winged Mode (20 CE/round) – The Mecha transforms, grows wings and gains a flight speed of 5m/CE. The Mecha receives a +20% bonus to all Dodge actions, and doubles their range with ranged weapons.
Quadrupedal Mode (20 CE/round) – The Mecha goes on all fours and doubles their current movement speed, moving quickly. Their Mech Slots do not affect how much they can carry as they receive a +20% bonus to all damage dealt.
Bastion Mode (20 CE/round) – The Mecha remains in place and cannot be moved from any abilities, as their CE cost for all abilities is halved, and they receive an additional +5,000 Passive DT.

EMP Pulse

This modification adds an additional ability to the Mecha.

EMP Pulse (20 CE/round) – The Mecha creates a pulse every round in a 100m radius which disables all electronics. All electronics e.g. Firearms, artificial lights, etc. are disabled and cannot function for as long as this ability is active.

Rapid Deployment System

Quality of Life, Mecha Modification

The Mecha has multiple built in systems to allow the Pilot to enter the Mecha quickly. The TP cost to enter this Mecha is now 0, and no longer provokes exposure.

Quick Eject

Emergency, Mecha Modification
Crafting Recipe: –
Properties: – Weight: 500kg Cost: C$50

When the Mecha’s core becomes unstable, the Pilot is immediately launched out of the Mecha, directly 10m above it, and becomes under the effects of the feather fall power until they land.

Self Destruct

Explosive, Mecha Modification

This modification adds an additional ability to the Mecha.

Self Destruct (Rest of the Mecha’s CE) – The Mecha’s core turns unstable, the range of this core’s destruction is doubled, and is considered a critical hit.

RADAR Sensor

Sensory, Mecha Modification

This modification adds a heads-up display to the Mecha, creating a minimap around the mecha with a 1km radius. The Mecha gains the ability to automatically detect all life signatures and mechanical signatures in the area, sensing their exact location and size.

Layered Vitals

This modification grants the Mecha an additional layer of protection in it’s vital joints, and gains an additional +500 HP per modification added.

Cargo System

Slots, Mecha Modification
Crafting Recipe: –

This Modification increases the amount of Mech Slots that the Mecha has by +5. Each time this modification is added to the Mecha, their HP is reduced by -1,000, and their Damage Reduction is reduced by -5%.

Cooling Vents

Energy, Mecha Modification
Crafting Recipe: –
Properties: – Weight: 50t Cost: C$300

This modification adds an additional ability to the Mecha. Additional mods of this grant another use of this ability per encounter.

Cooling Vents (0 CE) – The Mecha regenerates 100 CE when activating this ability. This ability can only be used once per encounter.

Ability Module

This Modification adds a perk or power that can be used by the Mecha. Combine the natural TP and MP/SP costs of the ability, then half the result. This is how much CE is used by the Mecha.

Hull Reinforcement

Armour, Mecha Modification

Properties: – Weight: x2 Cost: C$215

The Mecha adds an additional +5% Damage Reduction per modification added. For every amount added over +80%, the Mecha instead gains +1,000 Passive DT per modification.

Booster Jets

Speed, Mecha Modification

The Mecha increases it’s speed by an additional +2m/CE per modification added.

Parry Mechanics

Defence, Mecha Modification

The Mecha increases it’s Block DT by +2,000 per modification added.

Cloaking Mod

Stealth, Mecha Modification
Crafting Recipe: –
Properties: – Weight: 20t Cost: C$285

This modification adds an additional ability to the Mecha.

Cloaking (20 CE/round) – The Mecha turns invisible. Any attacks made by the Mecha remove this invisibility.
