Here is a list of all actions that Mechas can perform. This list mimics the actions that characters can typically perform. All actions performed by Mechas always provoke exposure for normal characters.

Offensive

Attack

CE Cost: Varies Provokes Exposure?: No

You attack with the Mecha’s weapon, rolling the damage dice as indicated with the Mecha’s weapon.

Aim

CE Cost: 10 Provokes Exposure?: No

You aim at a specific limb with the Mecha, your next attack targets this limb. Table: Mecha Aim Attacks lists the effects of each targeted limb.

Limb Effect
Head x2 Damage, -25% chance to hit.
Cockpit The Pilot receives the damage instead, Only hits on a critical success, homing has no effect.
Sensors The Mecha receives a -25% penalty to all passive Senses actions until repaired.
Arms The Mecha loses it’s arm control until repaired.
Legs Movement actions cost x2 CE until repaired. If affected again, modifier is x4.
Torso Target must take Balance action (DC equal to weapon modifier). on fail, they become prone.
Energy Core The Energy Core becomes unstable, -200% chance to hit
Wings Target must take Balance action (DC equal to weapon modifier) on fail, they fall to the ground.

Defensive

Block

CE Cost: 5 Provokes Exposure?: No

The Mecha blocks an attack, using it’s Block DT to absorb the attack. Subtract the attack’s damage from the Block DT after calculating Damage Reduction.

Dodge

CE Cost: 10 Provokes Exposure?: No

The Mecha attempts to dodge an attack using the Pilot’s Vehicle Control action (DC attacker’s Weapon Modifier), on success, the Mecha moves 2m to the left, right, ahead of or behind itself.

Support

Recharge

CE Cost: 0 Provokes Exposure?: Yes

The Mecha regenerates 10 CE per round, and 60 CE per minute while this ability is active. Each round that this ability is active, the Mecha provokes exposure.

Movement

Move

CE Cost: 1 Provokes Exposure?: No

The Mecha moves at it’s speed when this ability is used.

Double Time

CE Cost: 1 Provokes Exposure?: Yes

The Mecha moves at double it’s speed when this ability is used.

Prone

CE Cost: 0 Provokes Exposure?: Yes

The Mecha lays flat on the ground and becomes prone, they receive only 10% of all knockback effects and receives a +40% chance to hit

Crouch

CE Cost: 0 Provokes Exposure?: No

The Mecha halves it’s movement speed and gains a +20% chance to hit.

Stand Up

CE Cost: 10 Provokes Exposure?: Yes

The Mecha attempts to stand up. If the Mecha is attacked while exposed by this ability, they immediately fall prone.

Climb

CE Cost: 2 Provokes Exposure?: Yes

The Mecha attempts to climb an object that is larger then them, going half of their movement speed while climbing.

Jump

CE Cost: 2 Provokes Exposure?: Yes

The Mecha jumps 2m in any direction.

Utility

Interrupt

CE Cost: 5 Provokes Exposure?: Yes

The Mecha interrupts the action of the target using an attack action (DC Target’s Action), on success, the action is successfully interrupted, and the target does not perform the action, but expends all costs associated with using the action

Grapple

CE Cost: 10 Provokes Exposure?: No

The Mecha attempts to grab a target (DC Target’s Dodge Modifier), on success, the target becomes grappled, they can no longer take any movement actions, All attacks made by the target have a -50% chance to hit. The Mecha may perform any movement action while grappling the target. The Mecha moves at half speed while grappling.

Throw (5 CE) – You may throw a target you have grappled 20m in any direction. This removes the grappled condition. Body Shield (5 CE) – Instead of blocking, the Mecha may move their grappled target to become the target of any attack made to the Mecha. The target cannot dodge the attack. If the target is dead, destroyed, or cannot be targeted, this ability has no effect.

Trip

CE Cost: 10 Provokes Exposure?: No

The Mecha’s melee attack knocks over opponents, causing them to become prone on a failed Balance action (DC Mecha’s Attack Modifier).

Tackle

CE Cost: 10 Provokes Exposure?: Yes

The Mecha tackles an opponent, forcing both you and the target to be knocked prone. The target takes a Balance action (DC Attacker’s [Bodyguard](#1.26.1.Bodyguard outline) Modifier), on success, the target does not fall prone.

Disarm

CE Cost: 10 Provokes Exposure?: No

The Mecha attempts to disarm a target, forcing them to drop their weapon, with a successful attack, the target must take a Bodyguard action (DC Mecha’s Attack modifier) on fail, they drop their weapon.

Reload

CE Cost: Varies Provokes Exposure?: Yes

The Mecha reloads their weapon, restoring the amount of capacity specified by the specific weapon’s reload. This ability cannot be used if the weapon does not have a Capacity or Reload.

Craft

CE Cost: 25 Provokes Exposure?: Yes

The Mecha attempts to craft something, using it’s Intellect (or the Pilot’s Craft modifier), the Mecha crafts as normal.

Repair – The Mecha can attempt to repair an item that is broken (DC 100 while in combat, no DC otherwise)

Destroy

CE Cost: 5 Provokes Exposure?: No

The Mecha destroys whatever object or building is infront of them, automatically succeeding at the action, the item becomes destroyed.

Swap Items

CE Cost: 5 Provokes Exposure?: Yes

The Mecha the items in it’s hand with other items in it’s storage.

Miscellaneous

Interact

CE Cost: Varies Provokes Exposure?: Yes

The Mecha interacts with an object, activating it or deactivating if it chooses to.
