Surfboard

An oblong shaped piece of material, typically made of plastic, these boards are similar to skateboards, in where they are designed to be stood on, however, a Surfboard is used strictly for the ocean and similar environments. They are commonly used recreationally, and are known to be used on sandy or snowy environments.

This small, diamond shape fits one paddler and is thin enough to travel down intense streams at fast speeds. This vehicle comes with a double oar that allows the rider to control and move the canoe. Canoes are very common on more liquid based planets as they are smaller forms of transport, but they are also used recreationally in more well off planets.

This small boat is about 3m long and allows room for multiple people to sit inside of it, it comes with two paddles which allow it to be rowed for movement. This is commonly used as a fishing boat for societies with not much technological advancement, or for a cheap way of travel in aquatic regions.

A cargo boat is a larger sized boat with a lot of storage space, allowing the boat to carry larger cargo, these boats are typically used for travel on liquids to stock various towns and settlements. They have a lot of space, and are popular for many traders and travellers.

Armoured Boat

This boat has multiple layers of protection and defence, with armoured plating located everywhere, the driver’s seat is even heavily protected. These boats are for the most stalwart of warriors, used exclusively in naval battle, they are not very large, but can easily turn the tide of any sea battling, and compared to other boats of their calibre, can cover a large distance.

This ship is characteristically shown with multiple giant sails, and typically uses the wind to travel at high speeds, it is commonly associated with various archaic forms of nautical travel, such as pirates and privateers. The sailship has a very iconic design, and is used mainly in forms of reenactment, and is typically seen as a novelty.

Yacht

This gigantic vehicle is designed to house multiple people, and is a sign of extreme wealth, used typically as a form of resort or vacation home for the rich, Yacht’s are very luxurious vehicles that prioritise comfort amongst everything, and are usually very aesthetically pleasing. Yacht’s require whole crews to run effectively, however, it is not needed to manage the very basics of a ship. Yachts usually come with whole kitchens, large relaxation rooms and multiple bedrooms, enough to house about 50 people.

Submarine

A submarine is an underwater vehicle that is used for various military and science expeditions, being sealed to withstand high pressures, these were the basis for most early proto-spaceships, being able to withstand the high pressures and the foreign environments of the time. Submarines relatively spacious despite their appearance, and have thick walls to prevent implosion from occurring from underwater pressure.

These relatively pointy and small boats have a very powerful motor behind them which allow them to travel at high speeds. Speedboats are designed for speed, they’re the best at what they do, Speedboats are frequent getaway vehicles by robbers for their high speeds.

Jetski

Jetski’s are singular, oval-nosed boats, the motorcycles of more aquatic regions, they contain a simple motor, and are relatively small, Jetskis are used recreationally most times due to their size, there’s not many practical uses for them, however, they are typically stylised quite often due to their simple shape.

Warship

The warship is a gigantic aquatic vessel that typically has various air vehicles landing on it, there’s multiple rooms for housing and such, and is used quite extensively in military campaigns as a way to have a portable home for soldiers. They are usually equipped with large amounts of weapons.
