Holopad

A thin, holographic and clear glass pad that creates a white light when drawn onto, roughly the size of an A4 sheet of paper, it typically can only be drawn on with a stylus, and is very popular amongst artists for its changing colours and images that can be animated. All images are usually associated with the wielder of the images and any wielder who uses a holopad can access their own archive of photos either drawn or written on the holopad.

A universal tool, typically used for drawing and writing on technological devices, it is a similar shape to a pen or a pencil of yesteryear, with an eraser button and colour changing wheel on the top when pressed creates a colour wheel holographically in front of the stylus, which when moved to the colour, swaps the colour when the button is unpressed

A thin piece of flexible screen that functions like a holopad, but only has one colour, it is mainly used for putting notes around and signing forms, and things similar.

Pen

A small, metallic stick-like tool, with a button on top which when pressed, reveals a small, pointed metal tip that allows you to write, has an ink canister in the middle of the pen, usually hidden by the outer layers of the pen. It can write on most natural writing surfaces.

A laptop is a very simple device, which can be used for communication, such as sending and receiving files, writing documents, and browsing a limited part of the metasphere, while not entirely equipped to access games or anything similar and important, it is an average device that normally connects to a cloud somewhere and is very reliable in terms of technology, a very popular tool in the hackers arsenal as while it can’t directly have complete control of a metasphere, it can access metasphere components and is useful for hacking in that regard.

A wooden stick with a graphite lead, which allows the user to write onto any natural surface, this archaic tool was made in a time before pens and proves useful even now for its simplicity, but are a rare commodity in a world such as this.

A piece of paper made the traditional way, using wood dust and recycled paper that has been sun bleached and dried into a piece of paper you see today, while fairly easy to make, the materials to make it are very rare and very valuable. An organic piece of paper is usually the size of an A4 sheet of paper and feels smooth to the touch to write on, a luxury in today’s world.

Scrolls are pieces of paper in a wooden chamber, which stores the paper safely, and a wooden bottom which allows the paper to be pulled out, they can be imbued with powers and become Power Scrolls, they may also be drawn on with perks to create Training Scrolls.
