Keycard Lock

A keycard lock, used mainly for more higher tech operations, it requires a special kind of code from a keycard, normally coming with two cards, one for use and typically one for backup, a simple swipe allows the door to open with a keycard lock.

A scanner that scans the hand and eye of a person, connected typically to a database, the biometric scanner is a really high tech form of defence against infiltrators, as it requires multiple, unique forms of identification.

A pattern lock which requires a puzzle to be solved to unlock this lock, usually a sliding puzzle or something similar, it’s used mainly as a novelty by eccentric folk, but its use as a lock is pretty nifty otherwise.
Keypad Lock

A highly advanced lock which has many states that it can be in, requiring the user to interact with the prism to put it in the state that it is meant to be in, with no colour indicators to tell what formation it is meant to be in, but only shape. A highly advanced and high tech lock that is typically very hard to unlock.

They’re very complicated when it comes to coding, and is the main tool in the arsenal of a hacker as it forces these locks open, flipping a coin allows any lock not mentioned before to be opened on a heads, while on a tails, permanently destroys the lock, setting off an alarm and making the door or item unable to open.
