This is a simple attack with a shield, anyone with proficiency in shields can perform this attack. Shield Bashes add the Block DT of the shield to the base damage of the attack.

Buckler

This small hand shield is designed with various combat maneuverability in mind, being a small, typically metal shield that covers the other hand and allows the wielder to redirect various attacks. A buckler may be used in one hand without removing the equipped component for casting various abilities, treat yourself as having one free hand while using a Buckler.

Targe

A Targe is a small shield that rests on the wielders forearm, allowing the wielder to wield various weapons freely, you may use two-handed weapons while using a targe.

Light Shield

A shield that is typically made of mostly wood or steel, it is fairly light and small, mainly used for frontline fighters who want an extra bit of defence for safety, but don’t want to carry too much. It usually is adorned with various symbols of war or whatever the wielder is creatively feeling belongs on their shield.

Heavy Shield

A shield that is much larger then a lighter shield, usually covering a fair amount of the wielder, it is made mostly either with wood or steel. It is used mainly by tanks in the frontlines for controlling large swarms and defending themselves against harsh blows.

Riot Shield

A huge shield, used by the beefiest of tanks in the frontlines, it provides cover to those behind it and is fairly heavy to lug around. Used mainly in protests against protestors or in bomb scenarios, it requires much skill to wield and use effectively, despite the bad name that riot shields have by those on the receiving end of one.

A huge shield pulsing with energy, this shield blocks against all powers and is effective at dealing with physical blows as well, being fairly see through, it’s like wielding a forcefield in your hand, and is typically fairly light due to it for a shield as big as this.

Pavise Shield

This shield is a large shield that must be deployed to be used. It functions as full cover enough for 1 medium creature when behind, the Pavise Shield is commonly used by various rangers and marksmen, used with the ability to deploy cover anywhere.

Catcher Shield

A large, heavy shield with a small device in the middle that is designed to catch various attacks and blades, once struck with this shield, half of the damage it blocks is reflected to all creatures in a 1m radius of the wielder.

This shield has three slots in the middle, with slight protrusions, and a trigger on the holder of the shield, It covers a small amount of the wielders body, as a light shield would. This shield has the properties of a firearm and a shield, and is used commonly by tanks to make use of distracted opponents

Duelling Cape

This small cape drapes over the wielders shoulder, covering a small portion of their body. When this cape is equipped, the user gains a +20% bonus to all actions made to distract or expose targets, and receives a +10% Dodge Chance.

Handcutter’s Shield

This shield rests on the wielders back, equipped with a strong taser-like device, any unsuspecting attackers who attacks a target in melee range with the shield take 800 (d4%) Electric damage, and immediately become stunned for 1 round, the attack also immediately fails. This effect can only occur once every minute.

Throwing Shield

This shield is a much smaller and more aerodynamic shield then others, with harder edges then most, this shield is designed for throwing and more offensive tactics, and packs more of a punch when attacking with the shield.
