This game uses a large amount of terms, abbreviations and definitions in the rules of the game. The following abbreviations are the most common

Game Master

As mentioned before, The Game Master (or GM) is the host of the game, they have complete control over the game at all times to ensure you have a great experience playing the game that they have made or they have used for their rules. The Game Master typically should be a person prioritising fun first. Anything you do in the game, you will eventually need to tell the Game Master about what you’re doing so they could set that plan into motion.

Non-Player Character (NPC)

A Non-Player Character (or NPC) is a character that is controlled by the GM and is used to support the players story in either negative or positive ways for the players. They are a storytelling element that is designed for the players to use at their own will and to become immersed in the world created by your GM.
