r/pbp

One of the most important subreddits and discords for pbp play and where we first found our people. Our playtest wouldn’t be operating without them.

Stormchaser Roleplaying
Links: Website
An amazing helper for allowing Mucho to help understand designing a website. One of our greatest contributors and a wealth of knowledge to where we are today in general. Stormchaser Roleplaying has been doing great work for a long while in this community. The Stormchaser RPG system, their flagship game, is a d20 dice pool system, and is incredibly flexible, like ours. It is more than worth checking out if you’re interested in games like this!

R&R Hobbies

R&R Hobbies is a LGS that deals in both popular and indie TCGs, TTRPGs and War Games, ran by a person with a genuine passion for the industry. A pillar for the community at local conventions and stores, R&R Hobbies is one of few game stores in Sydney region that focus strongly on the community aspect of board games. If you are in Sydney City, it’s definitely worth the trip to visit and experience one of the best representatives of the TTRPG community.

InResponse
Links: Website, Discord
InResponse is a LGS located upstairs in a nice playspace ran by a lovely person who has a genuine passion for the industry. They accept all kinds of games, both big and small, and is one of the few game stores in the Sydney region that respects your time and presence. It’s metal vibes is something that helps keep the 2000’s Y2K grunge edginess while showing you the warmth, wisdom and acceptance that LGS’s should have. Located in Arndell Park (Near Blacktown). If you’re looking for something new, it’s worth a trip to go down, get some cards, host a game, and even just to say “hi”.

SassWrites
Links: Website
SassWrites is an Australian TTRPG fanatic. They’re an experienced TTRPG developer and gamemaster, a writer, a poet, and storyteller. They are currently working on their game “Of Folk and Fey”, a d6 dice-pool system with fairy-tale and folklore themes. Following in the footsteps of the original stories, it’s gritty and requires a lot of risk taking to be able to survive and thrive. Every action has it’s consequences, and the game feel and aesthetic is something you don’t see in TTRPG’s often. Highly recommend checking out their website and giving their game a try.
